Gunn Band and Orchestra Boosters

The Band & Orchestra Boosters is an active group of parents working to promote and enrich the Gunn High School Instrumental Music program. Parent volunteers provide essential support to the music teachers throughout the year for varied activities surrounding concerts, clinics, and other musical events. The Boosters rely on the hard work and creative energy of parents to make all this work. Please consider an additional donation to the Boosters. We fund many activities for the Instrumental Music Department, as well as scholarships, instrument repair and supplies. Some of our highlight activities are the jazz guest artist fundraiser concert, the jazz swing dance, and the CMEA festival and food booth, in addition to trips! Your added donations help us to better supply those activities without having to ask additionally later. Anything will help! OR please look out for sign-ups throughout the year, and give the gift of your time.

The Boosters are crucial to the success of the Gunn musical ensembles to fund:

Guest conductors, musical tutors, and music consultants
Instrument and music purchases
Festival fees
Scholarships to ensure all students can participate in the music program
