2025 Ann Halstead Scholarship Application

Purpose:

The Ann Halstead scholarship is named in honor of the remarkable woman who dedicated her 37 year career to empowering and supporting women in public education, including 30 plus years of service to TCWSE. This scholarship is awarded in an amount up to $1,000, which is to be used for any Texas women leaders/aspiring leaders in the education industry for professional development, including: research, travel, conference fees, and related experiences for professional development activities. We encourage all aspiring women leaders in education to apply and continue to carry on the inspiring work of Ann Halstead.

Guidelines:

Applications are open to any Texas women leaders/aspiring leaders in the education industry.
Preference is given to those who are TCWSE members.
Only one scholarship will be presented each year.
Entry must be submitted by Monday, December 9, 2024

The award is made on a reimbursement basis and funds must be expended within 12 months following announcement of the award.
