Merit Fellowship and Dean's Scholar Award Application

Brite Divinity School’s premier Master of Divinity Merit fellowships include a full tuition grant plus a $10,000 annual stipend for three years of full-time study. Recipients of these merit awards are expected to excel academically and to demonstrate outstanding potential for leadership in the church and in the wider community.

Successful applicants must have an undergraduate GPA of 3.5 or better and submit a completed application for the Master of Divinity program.  An admissions interview is required as part of the application process. The Fall 2024 Merit Fellowship application deadline is January 15, 2024.

Brite Divinity School’s Dean’s Scholar Award includes a full tuition grant plus a $5,000 annual stipend for three years of full-time study. Recipients of these merit awards demonstrate promise for congregational or innovative non-profit ministry.  An undergraduate GPA of 3.5 is preferred and a  completed application for the Master of Divinity program must submitted. An admissions interview, via Zoom, is required as part of the application process. The Fall 2024 Dean's Scholar Award application deadline is January 15, 2024.

Those applying who are not successful in winning one of these awards will automatically be considered for Brite’s other Master of Divinity scholarships. Grants range from 50-100% tuition and may also include a merit stipend. Awards will be announced in early February 2024.
