Lucky Pup Foster Information and Agreement

We are so happy you are considering fostering for us.
Foster families and foster parents provide temporary homes
for homeless dogs until they are adopted!

We cover food, vet care, bedding.
Foster dogs make great friends, companions, snugglers!

-Our foster program is staffed by volunteers who know how important fostering is to save more lives. By choosing to foster a dog, you are saving the life of that dog who would otherwise be killed in the shelter.  It is the link between life and death for shelter dogs in need.
Fostering a dog in your home is also A HUGE RESPONSIBLITY.

-As a foster family, you may fall in love with your foster and will have first right of refusal when it comes to a permanent adoption.  Normal adoption fee/donation applies.

- Communication is key!
We need for you to bring up any questions and challenges with us as soon as possible.
If we need to remove your foster from your home, we ask for 24 hours notice before returning the dog(s) to Christine and Steve Haslet of Lucky Pup Dog Rescue in San Diego, California.
Your foster is ABSOLUTELY not be given away, left in the care of someone else,
taken to any shelter or returned to us without proper notice.

-Your foster remains the property of LUCKY PUP DOG RESCUE, we reserve the right to reclaim the dog and terminate foster care at any time.
