"Festival" as spoken in this agreement refers to the event Connect Festival.
“Connect Festival” as spoken as singular in this agreement refers to Connect Festival Directors, Staff, Affiliates and Authority.
"Festival duration" and/or "duration of the Festival" as spoken in this agreement is between 12.00p on August 3, 2017 through until 5.00p on August 7, 2017 while on Besant Park & Campground property.
-Food Truck Vendor agrees that a one-time and non-refundable Vendor fee of $550.00 will be collected via Interac e-Transfer or cheque before the duration of the Festival. NOTE that further direction for Food Truck Vendor fee payment will be given upon application approval.
-Food Truck Vendor agrees that in all circumstances, they must have their necessary documentation of valid approvals/permits/insurance/certification to provide food service with them on site and visibly posted to the public eye and/or readily available upon request by any persons.
-Food Truck Vendor agrees to keep approved and operational fire extinguisher(s) and first aid kit(s) in the truck at all times - Minimum of 1 each.
-Food Truck Vendor agrees to keep their operational waste to a minimum and use compostable or recyclable tableware when possible. In addition, the operating Food Truck Vendor agrees to keep the facility and adjacent areas in a clean and orderly condition. Connect Festival will provide trash cans and coordinate removal of all waste material multiple times daily for the duration of Festival.
-Food Truck Vendor acknowledges that Connect Festival will provide utility of water for the duration of the Festival. NOTE that the water at Besant Park and Campground is non consumable and may not be used to cook with or provide to any persons.
-Food Truck Vendor understands that they will need their own source of power.
-Food Truck Vendor agrees that their operation will be mapped out by Connect Festival. However, if needed, for any reason, Food Truck Vendor agrees to immediately comply with requests or directives to relocate.
-Food Truck Vendor will have access to their operation 24 hours/day for the duration of the Festival.
-Food Truck Vendor must be fully open and operational on a schedule provided by Connect Festival on or before July 31, 2017. NOTE that this schedule will include that a Vendor will be open and fully functional for a minimum of 12 hours per day.
-Food Truck Vendor agrees to have their operation closed, collapsed, packed and land provided cleaned by 7.00p on August 7, 2017.
-Food Truck Vendor agrees to abide by all local, provincial and federal laws pertaining to their sales of goods and/or services for the duration of the Festival.
-Food Truck Vendor agrees that Connect Festival will not supply overnight storage for their equipment and/or merchandise for the duration of the Festival. However, the unit may remain in designated area for the duration of the Festival
-Food Truck Vendor agrees that Connect Festival is not responsible for any lost or stolen items for the duration of the Festival.
-Food Truck Vendor agrees that Connect Festival reserves the right to close any operation and remove all person(s) affiliated with wholly and/or in part of the above noted business from the Festival for failure to comply with the above stated Festival rules for the duration of the Festival.
The submission of this application constitutes an agreement between the individual(s), groups(s) and/or company to operate as a Food Truck Vendor at the Connect Festival. A completed and submitted application form indicates that your business and all person(s) affiliated with wholly and/or in part of the above noted business have read and agree to the Connect Festival Food Truck Vendor Rules and Agreement as stated.
