Olney Cougars Tryout Registration Form

The Olney Cougar fastpitch travel program is having tryouts for the 2017 – 2018 season at OBGC Park for various age groups on the following dates and times in August. Each session will last approximately 2 - 3 hours.

Olney Cougars tryout will be held at OBGC Community Park at Freeman Fields from Sunday, August 13 through Sunday, August 20. See the chart below to see what tryout date applies to your age group.

Sunday August 20 Make-up Date for all age groups

10U and 12U - 8:00am - 10:00am
14U and 16U - 10:15am - 12:15pm
18U - 1:00pm - 3:00pm

Make-up date is only as required and may only be required for select age groups.

The Cougars will likely have one or more teams for each of the following age groups: 10U, 12U, 14U, 16U and 18U. We expect all of our teams to be classified as either "A" or "B".

Please register online so we can properly plan and have sufficient resources available. Also, if your daughter cannot make the scheduled tryouts, please complete the form and we will contact you to make alternative arrangements. Thank you.

Please note that formation of teams and level of competition will depend upon having a sufficient number of players with appropriate skills for each age group.

Instructions for Tryouts

Players should bring their softball equipment and plenty of water to the tryout.
Players should arrive at least 30 minutes before their tryout. Coaches will be available to answer your questions prior to warmups.
Pitchers and catchers should plan on staying an additional 30 minutes after the 2 hour session has been completed.
