Gunn Athletics

Gunn has an active Athletics Program with many competitive teams. All students are welcome as student athletes. There are three athletics seasons and every season features at least one sport without tryouts allowing any student to join the team. Sports are co-ed unless indicated. How To Register

Student Athletes must complete an annual physical from the student’s doctor, and register on the Athletic Clearance Website to participate in Gunn Sports. View additional instructions under Athletic Clearance & Registration Procedures on the Gunn Athletics website.

How Gunn Athletics are Funded

Gunn Athletics is supported by funding from PAUSD, Athletic Participation Donations and Gunn Sports Boosters. All three sources play an important role in the Athletics program:

Gunn Sports Boosters

Gunn Sports Boosters supports Gunn student athletes in partnership with the Gunn Athletics Department. We fund special projects and initiatives that benefit the Gunn Athletics program beyond what is possible from Athletic Participation Donations.
