Thank you for your interest in serving on the CSI Board of Directors. Your information will be held in confidence by CSI volunteer leaders and staff involved in the selection process.
The information you provide will be used by the Nominating Committee to evaluate your potential candidacy. Any CSI member interested in serving as Director should read through the CSI Governing Policies and Director position summary thoroughly.
If you move forward past this stage of the application process, you will be invited to participate in an interview with members of the CSI Nominating Committee.
Roles and Responsibilities
Provide strategic guidance, high-level oversight, and resource allocation for the direction of the organization. The Board is the ultimate fiduciary body of the organization.
Competencies
CSI Board members are expected to be comfortable with the concepts of visionary versus operational leadership and how they may be applied to CSI. Consistent with this, nominees will be interviewed regarding the following competencies:
