ABOUT THE PROGRAM (Please read carefully.)
Arts for Learning (A4L)’s ArtWorks program is a six-week, partially paid internship in the arts. Interns will work alongside a Project Facilitator in an artistic co-op of their choice to create works of art, while learning key workforce development skills. Interns will work to prepare family-friendly community arts events on behalf of A4L. Interns will help to market, produce and/or create products to sell at these events. Additionally, interns will receive (30) community service hours and participate in (30) hours of unpaid skill-building workshops. No prior arts experience is necessary, but applicants should have a strong interest in the arts and a willingness to learn in a diverse setting. Interns will be paid $8.46/hour.
Interns will receive payment for 120 hours of work during the six-week program.
*For current 9th – 12th graders only
