Kenbridge Unlimited, LLC (d/b/a Vacation Envy International) appreciates your interest in our Egypt: Luxor/Cairo vacation package. Currently, we only have 30 rooms available for booking. We may add more later if there is a demand for space. Once the last space is sold, the page will be deactivated, and it will be inaccessible.

Upon completion of the registration form, you will be required to pay a $50 deposit using PayPal, that will be applied to the balance of your trip. Upon completion (and confirmation) of the registration process you will receive a Welcome Email and an invoice from Freshbooks, Inc. Do allow two (2) business days to receive these items. Credit/debit card payments will incur a 5% transaction fee.

Also, there is a $35 Non-Sufficient Funds (NSF) fee for all returned checks. After two (2) returned checks, payments must be made by credit/ card (with an additional 5% transaction fee per transaction) or money order. For example, if you want to pay $500, a transaction fee of $25 will be added to your invoice. A minimum payment of $300 is required for credit/debit card payments. You will be required to adhere to make payments of at least $200 per month. VEI is required to make payments toward your space, and we can only do that with your payments. Failure to make payments will result in cancellation.

LUXOR

WEST BANK: Visit the Valley of the Kings, which is home to many Pharaonic tombs of the New Kingdom, including those of King Tutankhamen and Ramses the Great. Each King's formal name and title is inscribed in his tomb, which are also adorned with his images and statues. Most of the tombs were cut into the limestone following a similar pattern: three corridors, an antechamber and a sunken sarcophagus chamber.

EAST BANK: Visit Hatshepsut Temple and the Colossi of Memnon. Continue to the East Bank where visits are made to the Luxor Temple and the Karnak Temple. The Luxor Temple was built largely by Amenhotep III and Ramses II, the temple served as a setting for the rituals of the festival, which was held to reconcile the human aspect of the ruler with his divine office. The Karnak Temple was erected in 1928 BC as a small shrine dedicated to Amun, god of Thebes. The Temple of Karnak comprises of three main temples, smaller enclosed temples, and several outer temples - all constructed over 1300 years. The three main temples of Mut, Monthu and Amun, are enclosed in enormous brick walls, with the temple of Amun at the center. Karnak is now the largest and oldest temple compound on earth.

CAIRO:

HALF DAY TOUR of PYRAMIDS and SPHINX: Includes Camel ride and lunch. The Pyramids were reckoned by the Greeks to be one of the Seven Wonders of the World. A single pyramid is built of 2,300,000 blocks, each weighing an average of two and one-half tons. In the face of such immensity, one cannot help but feel the wonder and awe that so many writers and artists have sought to convey over the centuries. The Cheops Pyramid is especially interesting since its interior burial chambers are open for inspection by the public. Not far from the Pyramids is the Great Sphinx of Giza, which dates from the time of Chephren (2620BC). Hewn from natural yellowish limestone and standing 65 feet high by 187 feet long, this unforgettable statue combines the head of a Pharaoh with a lion's body.

KHAN EL KHALILI BAZAAR: is a famous bazaar and souq (or souk) in the historic center of Cairo, Egypt. Established as a center of trade in the Mamluk era and named for one of its several historic caravanserais, the bazaar district has since become one of Cairo's main attractions for tourists and Egyptians alike. It is also home to many Egyptian artisans and workshops involved in the production of traditional crafts and souvenirs.

EGYPTIAN MUSEUM: (OPTIONAL/not included) We expect the new museum will be open before March 2023. The most important depository of Egyptian antiquities anywhere in the world. It features artifacts from the Pharaonic and Graeco Roman periods, including the celebrated mummies of ancient Egypt's kings and King Tutankhamun's treasures. Entry to the mummy’s room is included when this optional tour is purchased.

Other tours will be offered to the group about 30 days from depature.

DEPOSIT & CANCELLATION POLICY AND TRAVEL INSURANCE

A $50.00 deposit via PayPal is required to hold your space until your first payment is due.

There are no refunds after the deposit has been submitted. Payments are made and required to hold your space until the start of the trip.

You are encouraged to purchase travel insurance immediately if you are interested in Cancel For Any Reason Insurance. The cost is based on price of your package and your age.

One of the qualifying requirements is that you must purchase a policy within 7-14 days from the day you booked your reservation. Please read the policy before purchasing. Here are a few companies that we recommend:

MISSED PAYMENTS: Missed payments could result in cancellation of your reservation. If your reservation is cancelled due to non-payment, you will not receive a refund because you have prevented VEI from selling the package to someone else.

REGISTRATION: THINGS TO REMEMBER

1. Only complete the registration for your spouse/roommate if you will be paying for both reservations. You will receive ONE invoice and VEI will not be able to separate future payments made. If you want to pay separately, please have your roommate/spouse complete a separate registration so that VEI may issue two invoices and your payments will be recorded separately.

2. If you are completing the reservation for your roommate/spouse, you are also agreeing to the Terms and Conditions for them.

3. If you are selecting SINGLE OCCUPANCY, please enter "N/A" in the space for roommate.

4. If you do not have a roommate at the time you are booking, please enter PENDING. You have 30-60 days to find a roommate and have them register. If you do not have a roommate after 60 days, your invoice will be updated to SINGLE Occupancy with the single rate. VEI does NOT offer Roommate Matching.

5. You do not need a PayPal account to register. Debit/Credit cards are accepted by PayPal.

6. You do not need a PASSPORT to register. You will need to have a valid US passport within 4 months of departure. If you do not have a passport or your passport will expire before October 18, 2024, please make plans to apply for your new passport before November 2023.

I Agree: ASSUMPTION OF RISK/WAIVER - Client is aware that travel such as client is undertaking on the Trip may involve hazardous activities, some in remote areas of the world. Inherent hazards and risks include, but are not limited to, risk of injury or death from: motor vehicles collisions, animals, roadway hazards, slips, and falls, consumption of alcoholic beverages, tainted food, or non-potable water; exposure to the elements, including heat, cold, sun, water, and wind; my own negligence and/or the negligence of others, including tour guides, other guests, VEI and its employees, agents and/or representatives; attack by or encounter with insects, reptiles, and/or animals; accidents or illness occurring in remote places where there are no available medical services; fatigue, chill, overheating, and/or dizziness,; known or unknown medical conditions, physical excursion for which you are not prepared or other such accidents; the negligence or lack of adequate training of any third-party providers who seek to assist with medical or other help either before or after injuries have occurred; accident or illness without access to means of rapid evacuation or availability of medical supplies or services; and the adequacy of medical attention once provided.

I agree: Client understands the description of these risks is not complete and that unknown or unanticipated risks may result in injury, illness, or death. In order to partake of the enjoyment and excitement of this trip, client is willing to accept the risks and uncertainty involved as being an integral part of travel. Client hereby accepts and assumes full responsibility for any and all risks of illness, injury or death and of the negligence of VEI and agrees to and shall hold harmless and fully release VEI from any and all claims associated with the trip, including any claims of third party negligence and you hereby covenant not to sue VEI for any such claims or join any lawsuit or action that is suing VEI. This agreement also binds your heirs, legal representatives and assigns.

I Understand/agree/accept: LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY AND INDEMNIFICATION. CLIENT AGREES THAT VEI, ITS SUBSIDIARIES, AFFILIATES, LICENSORS, LICENSEES, SERVICE PROVIDERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, OFFICERS, AND DIRECTORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL, DIRECT, INDIRECT, PUNITIVE, ACTUAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR OTHER DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF REVENUE OR INCOME, PAIN AND SUFFERING, EMOTIONAL DISTRESS, OR SIMILAR DAMAGES, EVEN IF VEI HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES, SUCH DAMAGES WERE REASONABLY FORESEEABLE OR VEI WAS GROSSLY NEGLIGENT. IN NO EVENT WILL THE COLLECTIVE LIABILITY OF KENBRIDGE UNLIMITED, LLC AND ITS SUBSIDIARIES, AFFILIATES, LICENSORS, SERVICE PROVIDERS, CONTENT PROVIDERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, OFFICERS, AND DIRECTORS, REGARDLESS OF THE FORM OF ACTION (WHETHER IN CONTRACT, TORT, OR OTHERWISE), EXCEED THE FEES PAID BY CLIENT TO VEI FOR THE APPLICABLE SERVICE OUT OF WHICH SUCH LIABILITY AROSE. Some jurisdictions do not permit the exclusion or limitation of liability for consequential or incidental damages, and, as such, some portion of the above limitation may not apply to Client. In such jurisdictions, the liability of KENBRIDGE UNLIMITED, LLC , its Subsidiaries, Affiliates, Licensors, Licensees, Service Providers, Employees, Agents, Officers, and Directors will be limited to the greatest extent permitted by law. You indemnify and agree to defend and hold harmless VEI, its and their officers, employees, agents, affiliates, licensees and web hosting services and third parties for any losses, costs, liabilities and expenses (including but not limited to court costs, legal fees, awards or settlements) relating to or arising out of your use of VEI services, including any breach by you of the Terms contained in this Agreement.

COVID-19 Release: YOU expressly acknowledge that naturally occurring diseases and viruses (including, but not limited to, the currently widespread COVID-19) may be present and actively occurring in all environments in which your vacation will take place. You acknowledge the novel coronavirus, COVID-19, has been declared a worldwide pandemic by the World Health Organization. You acknowledge that COVID-19 has made travel uncertain due to government closures and travel restrictions. COVID-19 is extremely contagious and is believed to spread mainly from person-to-person contact (however the exact method of spread remains unknown). You also understand that if you are older or have underlying conditions, you may be more prone to serious infection and death due to COVID-19. As a result of the highly infectious nature of this disease, federal, state, and local governments and federal and state health agencies recommend social distancing, wearing of PPE (including masks), and have, in many locations, prohibited the congregation of groups of people. You acknowledge that exposure to such viruses or disease is an inherent risk of traveling, that cannot be controlled or eliminated by VEI. By making a booking at this time, you acknowledge the highly contagious nature of COVID-19 and voluntarily assume the risk for yourself and any minors traveling with you, that you or they may be exposed to or infected by COVID-19 by traveling and that such exposure or infection may result in personal injury, illness, permanent disability, and death. You acknowledge that due to the uncertainty of travel at this time, your trip may be postponed or cancelled or changes may be made to itineraries due to closures of certain sites or activities, for which there may be no refund. You understand that you may become sick before the trip and may not be able to travel and such cancellation will be subject to our cancellation terms below. You also acknowledge that you may become sick during the trip and that your travel plans may change, for which we will not be liable. You understand the description of the risks due to COVID-19 is not complete and that unknown or unanticipated risks may result in injury, illness, death or any other loss. You agree that having considered these risks, you, for yourself, and any minors traveling with you, desire to book travel at this time and that you freely and voluntarily assume complete personal responsibility for the risk of exposure, illness, death, delay, postponement, change, and cancellation due to COVID-19, for yourself and any minors traveling with you, even if such injuries or losses occur in a manner that is not foreseeable at the time the booking is made. You agree that due to uncertainty cause by COVID 19, VEI has strongly encouraged the purchase of travel protection coverage including cancel for any reason coverage, and that should you fail to purchase travel protection coverage, VEI shall not be liable to any losses howsoever arising. You, for yourself, and any minors traveling with you, and on behalf of your and their heirs, assigns, personal representatives and next of kin, HEREBY RELEASE, INDEMNIFY, AND HOLD HARMLESS Kenbridge Unlimited, LLC d/b/a Vacation Envy International, its officers, agents, and/or employees, suppliers, and other participants (RELEASEES), from any and all claims, demands, losses, and liability arising out of or related to any POSTPONEMENT, CANCELLATION, CHANGES, INJURY, DISABILITY, DEATH OR ANY OTHER LOSS you may suffer due to exposure, infection, spread, closure, and travel restrictions related to COVID- 19, WHETHER ARISING FROM THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE RELEASEES OR OTHERWISE, to the fullest extent permitted by law. You acknowledge that due to the uncertainty of travel at this time, your trip may be postponed or cancelled or changes may be made to itineraries due to closures of certain sites or activities, for which there may be no refund. All destinations and suppliers have their own rules related to COVID-19. For example, you may be required to quarantine upon arrival in some locations. Some locations may require masks or social distancing, they may require you to provide proof of vaccination or negative testing. Stopover countries requirements will also apply. On your return home, additional testing, requirements, or documentation may be required. While we will try to assist you in understanding these requirements, you are responsible for understanding these requirements and must not rely on any representations made by VEI. Should you be denied entry to any destination, we shall not be responsible for any such denial, or any cost associated therewith. You understand that you may become sick before the trip and may not be able to travel and such cancellation will be subject to our cancellation terms below. You also acknowledge that you may become sick during the trip and that your travel plans may change, for which we will not be liable.

I Agree: I was advised to purchase travel insurance to protect my financial investment and provide reimbursements for medical and dental, loss luggage and other benefits.

I Agree: To the above payment plan and I understand monthly payments are required to maintain my reservation. I also understand the above late fees will apply if final payment is not received by January 25, 2024..

I Agree: I have a current US Passport or I am planning to receive my passport prior to November 2023.

I understand: VEI will provide information regarding required VISAs and I will incur all costs for the VISA.

I Agree: At the time of booking, I am able to handle a moderate amount of walking at a moderate pace while unassisted. I am able to handle my own luggage if required to carry for 2-3 flights of stairs. I am aware that if my physical abilities change prior to the trip, I am not entitled to a refund of any tours or excursions that require a moderate amount of walking while unassisted. VEI or our suppliers (hotel, tour operators, etc. are unable to provide or accommodate wheelchairs, canes, scooters, etc.).

I understand circumstances beyond the control of VEI could result in a change in hotel(s), tours, and flights. When necessary, alternates of equal or greater value will be added to the itinerary.

I Agree: I understand hotel rooms are selected by the hotel staff. VEI does not have the ability to accommodate those that require connecting rooms or rooms on a specific floor or location. Room selection is based on availability at the time of check-in.

I Understand: VEI will always request NON-SMOKING rooms. However, VEI can not guarantee your room will not smell like smoke. VEI will assist you by working with the hotel staff to obtain a different room of the same category if you are assigned a room that smells. Changing rooms will be based on hotel availability, you may be required to wait until the next day.

I Understand: VEI will always request hotel(s) with free wi-fi. However, VEI cannot guarantee the hotel’s wi-fi service will work during the duration of our stay. VEI cannot guarantee the hotel will not change its policy prior to our arrival and decide to charge for wi-fi service.

I Understand: Double occupancy rooms will consist of two twin beds only. A single room or a room selected for two clients sharing one bed will consist of one queen or one king size bed.

I Agree: I have been advised that when booking Group Travel, travelers will be able to select seat(s) 24-48 hours prior to the departure date (going and return flights). Specific seats (aisle or window) may be limited and cannot be guaranteed. Please work with the airline staff at check-in for upgrades or requests for extra leg room seats.

I Agree: I understand I will receive my flight reservation and round-trip E-ticket 21 days prior to departure.

I Understand: VEI cannot make arrangements for those with special dietary needs. Please plan accordingly.

I Agree: All correspondence from VEI will be via email. It is my responsibility to check my inbox for notices at least once a week. VEI will not be responsible for missed deadlines.

I Agree: This booking is non-transferrable, and funds cannot be used towards a future trip.

I Agree: Please ensure your roommate is also making the required payments toward the trip. If your roommate’s reservation is cancelled, you will be required to pay the single occupancy rate.
