Investigating the Use of Tablet Technology with Students with Autism

The purpose of this study is to collect information about professionals’ perceptions, training and usage of tablet technology with students with autism.  This study is being conducted by Sarah Menser, a graduate student at Georgian Court University.  You are invited to participate in this survey study because you are a professional working with students with autism.

Your participation in this study is voluntary.  You may choose not to participate.  If you decide to participate in this research survey, you may withdraw at any time.  If you decide not to participate in this study or if you withdraw from participating at any time you will not be penalized.  There is minimal risk involved in this study and may include loss of confidentiality. 

Participants will complete an electronic survey about basic demographic information, perceptions of effectiveness of tablet technologies in interventions, training, professional development and usage.  This survey will take approximately 30 minutes to complete. 

All information will be stored on a password protected website.  The researcher intends to retain the final analysis for up to five years and may use it for research demonstration or possible publication.
