Program Overview: Open English live classes break away from the rigid, traditional board and textbook teaching methods found in other classrooms. Instead, students participate in live language instruction online with a curriculum designed to teach English through the use of interactive language games and an exciting online virtual world.
Position: Our company is accepting applications for online ESL teachers. You will be able to work remotely from home, anywhere in the world. This is a fantastic opportunity for qualified individuals to grow within an established, reliable company.
Job Requirements:
- Must be a native English speaker with American or British accent.
- Have experience teaching English to adults of all levels;
- Be able to teach at least 15 hours of classes per week (Nights 6 PM - 12 AM EST and weekends are preferred);
- Reliable, high-speed (at least 1 MB) Internet connection and quiet working space from home, sound capabilities with audio headset, and Office 2007 or later;
- Speak and write Spanish or Portuguese fluently;
- Good comfort level with online applications & technology;
- Must become certified by completing Open English's Live Instruction Certification Process.

Compensation: $9 per class; $10 per class after the first 6 invoice periods (bi-monthly, approximately 15 days between invoices), $10.50 after 12 invoice periods, $11 after 18 invoice periods and $12 per class after teaching 48 consecutive invoice periods in good standing.
