Dear BVA Applicant:

Thank you for your interest in the Arts & Business Council of Chicago’s BVA program. Business Volunteers are the heart of A&BC programming and provide thousands of hours of pro-bono consulting to our Arts Clients each year. Our BVAs have the opportunity to work with some of the most exciting emerging and mid-sized arts organizations in the city, and to become part of a network of hundreds of volunteers both in Chicago and in other cities around the country.

The application process to become a BVA includes the following questionnaire, resume submission and an in-person interview. All information provided will be kept confidential and used only for internal program management purposes. Upon review of your application, an A&BC staff member will be in contact to let you know if your background is a good fit for our program and to schedule an interview. Once accepted into the program, each new BVA will be expected to attend the orientation and initial training session.

The Winter 2012 Session is set for January 27, 2012 and the deadline to apply is January 13, 2012. There is a nominal fee of $100 to cover administrative costs for training.

If you have any questions about the BVA program, please contact Katie Kurcz at kkurcz@artsbiz-chicago.org or call (312) 372-1876 x229.

We greatly look forward to receiving your application and exploring both your passions and your skills in person.

Sincerely,
The A&BC Team
