The Alzheimer's Foundation of America provides grants to its nonprofit member organizations to develop or enhance educational and support services.

Grants are awarded twice a year—in the spring and fall. The deadlines are:

Spring: (postmarked by) February 1                    Fall: (postmarked by) August 1

Note:

  • Only AFA nonprofit member organizations may apply for AFA grants.
  • Grant recipients must wait one cycle before applying again for a grant under AFA's biannual grant process.
  • The Brodsky Grant, which is also awarded only to a nonprofit member organization, is a separate application. Applications for The Brodsky Grant are due (postmarked) May 15 of each year.
