* 1) How did you decide on an Anatolian? Have you thoroughly researched this breed and know all the pros and cons pertaining thereto (nighttime barking, digging craters in your yard, etc.)

* 2) Do you have a fenced in yard? How high is the fence? How much space is available for a large dog? NOTE: Please be advised that no inquiry will be considered without proper fencing.

* 3) If a working dog, will there be weatherproof outdoor cover for the dog during inclement weather? or would this be an indoor dog?

* 4) Do you have children? How many? Ages? Do they know the proper way to act around large dogs?

* 5) Have you ever owned a giant breed dog before? Would you be willing to take the dog to obedience classes and do extensive socialization for the lifetime of the dog?

* 6) Would you be willing to neuter?

* 7) What are your feeding habits? Do you feed free choice, once a day, twice a day? Do you know to feed Anatolians a good quality food, 20-24% protein and 12-15% fat?

* 8) Do you use monthly heartworm and flea preventatives? Would the dog be on an annual physical examination schedule?

* 9) Do you have the time, money and stamina to deal with a very large puppy that will grow into a very large dog?

* 10) How much time would you be spending socializing and training the pup each day? How much time would the pup be left alone each day?

* 11) How will your neighbors feel about such a large dog coming into the neighborhood? Are there restrictions in your homeowners contract about dogs? What are they?

* 12) If, for any reason, you could not keep the dog (other than health) ... would you be willing to return it to the breeder at your expense?
